Booking Terms & Conditions

. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once we receive a completed booking form and a deposit payment of 30% of the total trip cost. The remaining balance is due 45 days before the trip departure date. Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

2. Deposit & Payment
All payments must be made in USD. We accept bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client. Your spot on the trek is only guaranteed upon receipt of the deposit.

3. Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. The following cancellation charges apply:
  • More than 60 days before departure: deposit forfeited
  • 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost
  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total trip cost

4. Cancellation by K2 Expeditions Trekking
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient group numbers, extreme weather, political instability, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be issued or an alternative date offered. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the client, such as flights or accommodation.

5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Your policy must cover high-altitude trekking, emergency evacuation by helicopter, medical expenses, and trip cancellation. You must provide proof of insurance before departure. K2 Expeditions Trekking accepts no liability for any costs arising from inadequate insurance coverage.

6. Health & Fitness
All clients must be in good physical health and fit enough for the demands of high-altitude trekking. You are responsible for informing us of any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a trek if their health or fitness poses a risk to themselves or others.

7. Itinerary Changes
K2 Expeditions Trekking reserves the right to alter itineraries at any time due to safety concerns, weather conditions, permit issues, or unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to maintain the original program, but no compensation will be offered for necessary adjustments.

8. Risk & Liability
Trekking in the Karakoram and Himalayan regions involves inherent risks including altitude sickness, extreme weather, and rugged terrain. By booking with us, you acknowledge these risks and agree that K2 Expeditions Trekking, its guides, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in our trips.

9. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to follow the instructions of their guide at all times, respect local customs and culture, carry their own personal gear, and behave in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others in the group.

10. Permits & Documentation
It is the client's responsibility to hold a valid passport, obtain the necessary visas, and meet any entry requirements for Pakistan. K2 Expeditions Trekking will arrange all required trekking permits on behalf of the client as part of the trip package.

11. Privacy
Any personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of organizing your trip and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.
